Schroders appointments focus on digital ambitions
Schroders has appointed a new head of EMEA marketing from BlackRock and has made an internal appointment to the new role of head of content and digital.
Courtney Waterman has joined Schroders from BlackRock where she was head of EMEA institutional marketing.
She has over 20 years’ experience working in marketing for global asset management companies including Janus Capital International and Fidelity International.
Ms Waterman will be responsible for leading the UK and European marketing teams, as well as creating a strategic framework for in-country teams.
Peter Beckett has also been appointed internally and will be responsible for digital marketing, marketing services and investment communications.
Mr Beckett has been at Schroders for eight years as head of UK and international marketing and has over 15 years’ experience working on content-led marketing initiatives.
Both Ms Waterman and Mr Beckett will be based in London and will report directly to James Cardew, who is global head of marketing.

Schroders is a global asset management company with £313.5 billion under management as at 31 December 2015.
