The Personal Finance Society, the professional body for Chartered Financial Planners, has revealed speaker and programme details for its Festival of Financial Planning later this year which is expected to attract more than 3,000 delegates.
The PFS, which has 40,000 members, says there will be more than 100 expert speakers, with many of them PFS members.
The large scale event, held every few years, is the biggest conference of its kind in the Financial Planning calendar. It will take place over two days in November at the NEC near Birmingham.
The theme of this year’s event will be ‘IMAGINE: The Future of Financial Planning.’ The aim is to reflect a spirit of "innovation and collaboration.", the PFS says.
The conference programme will look at how tech, changing client expectations and new ideas are shaping the future of advice.
There will be over 75 sessions over two days in four arenas, over 70 exhibitors, 15,000 sqm of event space and entertainment.
Keynote speakers will include Libby Greiwe of the Efficient Advisor Podcast. She specialises in analysing the functions of a Financial Planning practice into actionable step-by-step processes.
Steve Head will also deliver a keynote session, drawing on 40 years of experience as a top sports coach, and a career in business leadership, sales, and marketing.
Other top speakers include Terry Blackburn on modern marketing strategies, Sara Davidson on hidden client risk, Andy McBride on performing under pressure and Sir Charlie Mayfield on how financial planners can keep Britain working.

The PFS Festival of Financial Planning will be held at the NEC Birmingham on 18-19 November 2026.
The event is free to attend for PFS members but will cost £499 for non members. However, non members can join the PFS from £84 a year.
