Transact announced as lead sponsor of sell-out IFP Conference 2012
The Institute of Financial Planning has announced that Transact will be the lead sponsor for its Annual Conference 2012 which has the theme: "Inspiring Trust".
The conference will take place from 1-3 October, benefitting from the five star facilities at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, South Wales. Delegate places are now completely sold out, so for the fourth consecutive year the event will be at maximum capacity with over 500 Financial Planners, Paraplanners and other experts attending from the UK and overseas.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: "I'm delighted that Transact are the lead sponsor of our flagship event for the first time ever, having provided outstanding support for IFP and the Financial Planning profession for many years.
"We had fantastic feedback following our 2011 conference from delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers alike. The whole team at the IFP has worked really hard to make sure we more than live up to everyone's high expectations again this year, and I'm sure the conference will not disappoint as we enjoy the usual positive atmosphere spirit of camaraderie and sharing of best practice."
Malcolm Murray, head of marketing at Transact, said: "The news that delegate places for this year's Conference at Celtic Manor are completely sold out indicates just how important it is to members of the IFP. This opportunity to mingle and discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead in what is likely to be a ground breaking year is clearly not to be missed. Transact looks forward to being part of it."
