Two directors of a wealth management company have been fined and banned by The Financial Conduct Authority for "serious failings in relation to the protection of client money".

The founder of an asset management company, set up in a back bedroom 19 years ago, says its success has gone beyond his wildest dreams after reaching the point of overseeing £385m worth of assets.

A new Masters Degree in wealth management has been launched at Loughborough University's School of Business and Economics.
