Wealth manager makes new senior hire
Arbuthnot Latham, the wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, has bolstered its Manchester office with a new senior appointment.
The firm revealed it had hired Barry Grieve as senior private banker, from Coutts & Co, where he was a director and private banker overseeing a portfolio of high net worth clients.
Arbuthnot Latham says Mr Grieve brings over 30 years’ experience in private banking and has “an acute understanding of the business dynamics in the North West, having held a catalogue of senior roles at NatWest and RBS, in addition to Coutts & Co”.
The firm says the move demonstrates Arbuthnot Latham’s commitment to boosting service and driving personal client relationships in Manchester and the North West region, in addition to its growing regional offering in Bristol and Exeter.
Andy Broughton, Arbuthnot’s head of Manchester Office and North Region said: “I am delighted to welcome Barry to the Arbuthnot Private Banking Team.
“He brings with him a wealth of experience from across the banking industry, and as a highly qualified and well-connected professional he will be a valuable addition to our team.
“It is a strong testament to Arbuthnot’s commitment to the region that we have been able to attract such a high calibre individual and we look forward to working with him as we continue to build out our growing regional business footprint.”
