Plymouth-based, M&G-owned national IFA Continuum has recruited specialist investments and pensions financial adviser Alex Gray from True Potential, where he was a self-employed financial adviser.
He will be based at Continuum’s Wadebridge office in North Cornwall.
The firm opened its office on Wadebridge high street in the summer. The office serves around 1,000 local clients of retiring independent financial adviser Darren Rowe.
Mr Gray holds a diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and began his career in financial services in 2015.
He said: “I’m honoured to have the opportunity to look after Darren’s clients following his retirement. He built an outstanding reputation in Wadebridge over many years, and my priority is to provide clients with the confidence that they’ll continue to receive the same personal, high-quality service they’ve always enjoyed.”
Martin Brown, managing partner at Continuum, said: "Alex’s local knowledge, professional expertise and client-first approach make him a fantastic addition to our growing adviser community, and we're excited to support him as he continues to build his business across North Cornwall."
Continuum was established in 2014 and is a wholly-owned business within M&G Advice, M&G’s financial advice business.
Continuum’s annualised turnover projection for 2026 forecasts double-digit figure rises of 19% to £21.96m. The growth in assets was driven by new business and existing client asset growth. New business written in the first quarter was £1.3m and ongoing recurring income rose 25% year-on-year.
Martin Brown, founder and managing partner announced his retirement in August after more than a decade leading the business. He will continue to support the business through a transition period until the end of the year.
