Rayner Spencer Mills, a financial research company, has launched an adviser guide on sustainable and responsible investing (SRI).
To do this, the firm partnered with sriServices, specialists in green and ethical investment advice.
The guide contains information on the different types of SRI funds, the SRI market and guidance on how to implement SRI into the advice process.
Julia Dreblow, director of sriServices, said: “The SRI landscape has seen much change recently as both small and large fund managers redefine their propositions in ways that play to their core strengths.
“It also helps those advisers who are working towards achieving the Advisers ISO22222 which includes a requirement to discuss SRI with clients.”
Geoff Mills, director at Rayner Spencer Mills, said: “A combination of a testing and turbulent economic climate, a diverse and increasing range of green and ethical financial products and a strong investor demand for social accountability all clearly point to a need for guidance in the SRI market.
“SRI is increasingly viewed not only as something which brings business benefits but also as an indicator of best practice.”
The guide is sponsored by SRI specialist Ecclesiastical and F&C.
