IFA Life hosts LinkedIn for Financial Planners workshop
Philip Calvert from IFA Life is hosting a social networking workshop for Financial Planners in Northern Ireland.
The workshop, held on 27 February, will specifically focus on the benefits of LinkedIn for Financial Planners.
It is estimated that up to 70 per cent of financial advisers have a LinkedIn account yet only a minority know how to maximise it to its full potential.
Topics covered on the day include why LinkedIn is a critical resource, specific benefits for Financial Planners, how to make your profile focused and how to attract new connections.
He will also show how LinkedIn can be used to benefit your business by creating company profiles, attracting professional clients and using mobile apps to connect with other businesses.
Mr Calvert, founder of IFA Life, said: “LinkedIn is one of the top 20 most visited websites in the world and of all the social networking tools available, LinkedIn probably offers more potential to Financial Planners than any other to build and enhance their online image, reputation and identity- any absolute must in a post-RDR world.”
The venue for the event is the Hilton Templepatrick Hotel and Country Club, Castle Upton Estate, Templepatrick, Ballyclare. It will begin at 9.30am and finish at 4.00pm.
Tickets cost £147 plus VAT if booked before 13 February or £238.50 plus VAT if booked after that date. There is a 10 per cent discount for members of the Institute of Financial Planning.
