Back to the Future: Sell out expected for IFP Annual Conference
We're looking forward to seeing lots of IFP members at this year's IFP annual conference, writes Katherine Morgans, the IFP's events director, who heads up the team organising this flagship event.
It looks set to follow the sell- out success of the 2011 and 2012 conferences when delegate and Paraplanner numbers topped 370.
This year, delegate places have been selling at an even faster rate than before so if you are planning to come, you'll need to book as soon as you can as tickets won't be available for much longer. Again this year, the total number of attendees will likely top 600 including speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, journalists and IFP staff. The full programme has now been finalised and we've got some great sessions lined up.
To make sure that it's a comfortable experience for everyone, we're asking delegates to pre-select which sessions they want to attend this year. It's a consequence of the success of the event but I think it will also mean that people give more thought to which sessions they'll find most valuable.

You'd be surprised at how many delegates come up to the IFP desk at conference asking which is the best session going on next and which do we think they should go to!
If you've not yet booked your place, accommodation at the Celtic Manor Resort has been sold out for weeks. However, there is still availability for the day and dinner conference package without accommodation, which includes the three-day programme, two evening dinners including the Gala Dinner which has earned itself a great reputation.
There's also the "pick and mix" package - you can choose to come just for the day if you wish. There are hotels of varying budgets very close by so if you can't stay on site, you've still got the option to stay locally.
