Each year there is an opportunity for CFP^CM professionals to put themselves forward to serve on the IFP board as a director, which is a voluntary position.
The IFP is keen to encourage those individuals with appropriate experience to put themselves forward for election to the board in 2014.
You'll need to apply by 17 July, having been proposed and seconded by current IFP members. A director will serve for an initial 3 year term and may be re-elected for a second term although if they go on to serve the organisation as Vice President and ultimately President, it can be slightly longer. There are three positions available this year.

It is important that the IFP board attracts a variety of candidates with different yet complementary experiences as its key role is to oversee the strategy of the organisation.
The board would particularly welcome applications from those with experience in marketing and accounting.
