Development opportunities for Paraplanners at conference
Paraplanners are an integral part of successful Financial Planning firms, whether in-house or outsourced, and ensuring they have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to deliver excellence in client service is essential.
The IFP supports the development of Paraplanners and that's why, four years ago, they introduced the first exclusive event for Paraplanners. It's a one stop shop for relevant tailored content, high quality CPD and the sharing of ideas and best practice all just for Paraplanners.
This year's conference theme is 'making it happen' because Paraplanners are doing just that for Financial Planning firms throughout the UK and worldwide.
At the conference on 21 and 22 May in Warwickshire there are plenty of development opportunities for Paraplanners including an interactive Financial Planning workshop, networking dinner, exhibition and a mix of keynote and pick and mix sessions.
Through a mix of technical, soft skills and practical sessions, it's designed to maximise personal development opportunities whilst optimising Paraplanners' efficiency and impact in delivering a comprehensive Financial Planning service which clients will love.
Technical sessions will cover reducing clients' exposure to IHT, a pensions' health check and maximising the benefits and mitigating the risks of drawdown.

Other sessions will cover how to persuade anyone to do anything (well, almost!), technology to help Paraplanners rock, improving your memory and unleashing your hidden performance factor.
98 percent of Paraplanners who attended last year's conference would recommend it to a colleague or friend and 75 percent rated the event as a whole as excellent. Sharon Corke of Inspire Wealth Management said "The conference is a good way to meet like minded people and share experiences and working practices. The speakers are excellent and the material is relevant."
